Flash shooting tips
To prevent light
from
being scattered by suspended
particles and then being
reflected
directly back
into
the
lens,
position the
flash head as far away from the
lens
as possible. If necessary, remove the flash from
its
bracket and hold it
off
to the side
and
slightly above
the
subject.
If sand is kicked
up
from
the seabed (see
Photo
1),
wait until it
settles
before
shooting
(see
Photo 2).
Finally,
remember
that water absorbs
the
light
from
the
speedlight
,
too.
