    BASIC OPERATION MOUNTING THE LENS Twist lens counterclockwise until it securely clicks into place. The N5005 is designed for use with AF Nikkor lenses, except AF- Nikkor SOmm fl2.S, 200mm fl3.5 IF, and Autofocus Converter TC-16/TC-16A. For limited use non-AF Nikkor lenses, pages 65 to 67.

    INSTALLING BATTERIES Open the battery chamber lid by sliding the lock release. Install four fresh AA-type batteries with "+" ends positioned as shown inside battery chamber. Batteries with a "+" terminal exceeding 6mm in diameter can- not be used. Close the battery chamber lid.
