Unlock and open
• the camera back @.
While depressing the orange
camera back release/lock button
@, lift up the camera back release/
lock latch@), turn it in the direction
of the arrow on the camera body
(counterclockwise), and align the
red camera back release /lock
mark @Don the latch with the white
camera back release index

on
the camera body.

Lift up the film
• pressure plate
®
and install the film
cartridge.
Swing the film pressure plate away
from the camera body. While hold-
ing the film pressure plate up, slip
the cartridge into the film cartridge
chamber so the top of the car-
tridge engages the rewind fork
®J
and the film leader points toward
the takeup spool
®.
Then push in
the bottom of the cartridge until it
is fully seated in the chamber.
