Path:
GROUND CIRCUIT
BLACK TO BATTERY – (NEG).
RED TO GROUND
CONNECTOR OF THE
SENSOR OR TEST POINT.
TEST: RUN THE ENGINE.

Measures and compares the alternator output voltage with the engine running.
Path:
ALT OUTPUT
BLACK TO BATTERY – (NEG)
RED TO BATTERY + (POS)

Monitor the voltage drop that
should be less than 0.1V.
