Pre--Operating Instructions: Generator Setup CAUTION: Alcohol-‐ ‐ blended fuels (gasohol, ethanol, or methanol) will attract moisture, which leads to separation and formation of acids during storage. Acidic gas can damage the fuel system of an engine while in storage. To avoid engine problems, the fuel system should be treated with a fuel stabilizer or drained if the generator will not be started for thirty (30) days.
