Section 1 - Stove Information This Flavel Rochester multi-fuel stove meets the safety and performance requirements of European Standard EN 13420 for intermittant burning solid fuel roomheaters for installation in a dedicated chimney when operated in accordance with these instructions. APPLIANCE EXEMPTION UNDER SECTION 21 OF THE CLEAN AIR ACT 1993 AND SMOKE CONTROL AREAS 2.9.1 The Flavel Rochester multi-fuel free-standing stove, model number FCSSB has been exempted under the Clean Air Act 1993 for use in smoke control areas when burning wood logs.

Section 6 - Operation of the Flavel Rochester Stove - User Instruction There are 3 main controls on your stove as shown below in figure 6, namely the primary air control, the secondary air control and the riddling mechanism. The stove is also supplied with a glove and an ashpan handle to be used as described in this section.
