RS-232 command string. 1. Manual Mode: In this mode the S2MBW-120 will not auto-switch at all. Even if the currently active input is disconnected, the S2MBW-120 will not switch. The only way to initiate a switch is by using the button on the front interface, RS232 commands, or by Contact closure button. -

EDID Settings and Functions The typical user will not have to do anything with the EDID settings in the S2MBW-120 if it’s working out of the box. The internal and external EDID is an option for the user to consider in case there are some needs to solve an incompatibility issue in the system. - Page 14 Holding the front panel button, sending the reset command, or using the “Restore” button within the configu- ration software will all Reset the S2MBW-120 to the original factory settings. After performing a reset, the unit must be power-cycled so that all of the changes take effect.
