Operation during play

Some operations may not work depending on the
media and contents.
• Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press
[∫] when you have finished playback to protect the unit's
motor, your TV screen, etc.
General operations
Status messages
Press [STATUS
].
• Each time you press [STATUS
information may change or disappear from the
screen.
e.g.,
HDR (High Dynamic Range)
Displayed when an HDR video signal is being
output.
e.g.,

"HDR (HLG)" is indicated for HDR (HLG)
programmes. ("HDR (PQ)" is indicated for HDR
(PQ) programmes.)
• Depending on media and contents, the display may change
or not appear.

Stop
Press [∫].
Resume play function
Press [1 a1.3] to restart from the stopped
position.
• Discs: Only previous stopped position is memorised. The
position may be cleared if the tray is opened or the unit is
switched to standby mode.
Quick View
Press and hold [1 a1.3].
• Press again to return to normal speed.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Quick View is not effective.
• Quick View is not effective when playing back the DVD-RW
], the display
disc.
• Quick View may not work when recording in XP or FR
mode.
Search
Ultra HD Blu-ray
Press [6] or [5].
Play
• Press [1 a1.3] to restart play.
• The speed increases up to 5 steps.
([+R] [+RW]: Up to 3 steps)
• Ultra HD Blu-ray, MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Audio is not
heard during all levels search.
Pause
Press [;].
