Machine actions
The machine does not switch
on.
The drip tray gets lled al-
though no water is drained.
The red
icon is always dis-
played on the machine.
Co ee is not hot enough.
No hot water or steam is
dispensed.
Co ee does not have enough
crema.

to warm up or the amount of
water dispensed from the wand
is too little.
The brew group cannot be
removed.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Causes
The machine is not connected to the
electric network.
Sometimes water is drained auto-
matically by the machine into the
drip tray to manage the rinsing of
the circuits and ensure optimum
machine performance.
The co ee grounds drawer was
emptied with the machine o .
The cups are cold.
The hole of the steam wand is
clogged.
The Automatic Milk Frother is dirty (if
supplied).
The blend is unsuitable, co ee is not
freshly roasted or the grind is too
coarse.
The machine circuit is clogged by
limescale.
The brew group is out of place.
The co ee grounds drawer is
inserted.
Solutions
Connect the machine to the electric
network.
This is seen as normal machine behav-
iour.
The co ee grounds drawer must always
be emptied with the machine on. Wait
until the
icon is displayed before
re tting the drawer.
Preheat the cups with hot water.
Clean the hole of the steam wand us-
ing a pin.
Make sure that the machine is o
and cold before performing this
operation.
Clean the Automatic Milk Frother.
Change co ee blend or adjust the
grind as explained in the paragraph
"Adjusting the Ceramic Co ee Grinder".
Descale the machine.
Turn the machine on. Close the service
door. The brew group automatically
returns to the initial position.
Remove the co ee grounds drawer
before removing the brew group.
