Shooting SLOG: Autoexposure
You must overexpose for SLOG shooting. Ideally you will have no important information in the shadow
areas of your image.
The easiest way to overexpose properly is to use Auto IRIS and set the AE shift to 1.5 EV. This will
overexpose the image by 1.5 stops.
You cannot use FULL AUTO when shooting SLOG. Use manual exposure control but AUTO IRIS.
