Charging the battery pack Turn off your camcorder by closing the LCD monitor, retract the viewfinder, and attach the battery pack. Turning the power on Open the LCD monitor of your camcorder and turn the power on. • You can also turn on the power by extending the viewfinder or by pressing the (On/Standby) button. To extend the viewfinder, grip both side of the viewfinder and pull it out horizontally. -
Page 17: Adjusting The Viewfinder
Adjusting the viewfinder When using the viewfinder, extend it and position your eye near it. If you extend the viewfinder while the LCD monitor is open, the display switches from the LCD monitor to the viewfinder when you position your eye near the viewfinder. If the viewfinder image appears blurred, turn the lens adjustment dial next to the viewfinder until the image is sharp. -

Recording/Playback Recording Recording movies Your camcorder records movies on a memory card. The factory setting of recording movies is XAVC S 4K. Perform the following steps to record movies.
