INSTALLATION
NOTE: This product is peer to peer and must be used as a set.
NOTE: A power supply is required at each end.
Connect cables. Notes:
1.
CAT5e/6 cables used should be wired to IEEE-568B standard. Unshielded Twisted Pair
(UTP) or Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) are both acceptable.
2.
Transmitter can connect directly to receiver without a cross-over cable.
3.
The transmitter and receiver automatically find each other on a network when patched
through a network switcher.
NOTE: It is not possible to use a network router as a distribution amplifier.
MULTIPLE SETS ON LAN
If more than one transmitter / receiver sets share same network:
METHOD 1:
Create a Virtual LAN on the network switch
Connect 15 transmitters to ports 1-15
Connect 15 receivers to ports 16-30
Create VLAN_1 and assign ports 1 and 16
Create VLAN_2 and assign ports 2 and 17 etc...
METHOD 2:
If method 1 does not work:
1.
Connect transmitter or receiver directly to computer.
2.
Power on device
for each
transmitter and receiver set. Example:
