Mounting the Camera
You can install the camera to a ceiling, wall, pole, parapet, or roof using the following
Honeywell products:

Refer to the installation instructions included with the mounts for more detailed instructions
on installing the mount and camera. See the following sections for more information on
installing the HDZ series camera with the above mounts.
Installing a Ceiling Mount (HDZCM1)
The HDZCM1 ceiling mount weighs 1.72 lb. (0.78 kg) and can be installed directly to a
load-bearing ceiling.
Important Notes:
• Ensure that the ceiling can support the combined weight of the camera and the mount
(at least 16.54 lb. [7.5kg]).
• If you are using a Micro SD card, install the card first (not supplied, refer to
the SD Card
on page 1).
• When you attach the mount to the ceiling in step 3, please make sure the mount is fixed
to the ceiling with appropriate material and is kept stable as the PTZ is so heavy that it
might drop when you attach it to the mount with the security chain (step 6).

bearing wall, or to a corner or pole using an appropriate adapter.

Ensure that the mounting surface can support the combined weight of the camera
and the mount (at least 16.54 lb [7.5 kg]).
• If you
