ADTRAN BroadCloud Analog Gateway Configuration Guide
Application Overview
Testing was performed using AOS version R11.10.6.
ADTRAN IP Business Gateways are a perfect fit for customers needing analog gateway
functionality. Each IP Business Gateway also includes business-class routing functionality and
stateful inspection firewall.
DTMF Relay
Inband DTMF can be configured on a per voice user basis using the command rtp dtmf-relay
inband. It is recommended that g.711 CODEC be used exclusively if inband DTMF is used.
FAX
The ADTRAN IP Business Gateways will automatically detect modem/FAX tomes and
renegotiate CODEC to g.711. To enable this functionality use the modem-passthrough
command on a per voice user basis.
The ADTRAN IP Business Gateways also support T.38 when used in conjunction with modem-
passthrough. T.38 is enabled on a per voice user basis with the t38 command.
Per Call Caller ID Outbound Block
The ADTRAN IP Business Gateways support per-call caller ID blocking via a SPRE code. To
enable caller ID block, prepend *67 to the dialed number, for example*672565551235.
