This means that while the TV is functioning in FTG Mode, Hospital Mode is enabled (i.e., Installer Menu item 027 HOSPITAL MODE is not set to 0). In addition, you can create custom channel lineups for Channel Banks 1 to 4.

When the TV creates an FTG Channel Map upon completion of the Express Script, the OSD attribute (displays the channel number, label, and icon) is automatically assigned to all channels, and the Encrypted attribute is assigned to each Pro:Idiom encrypted channel detected during the channel scan.

    Express Script (Cont.) When the TV is turned ON by the patient, an “Inactive TV Call Attendant” message will appear on the screen, and after a few moments the TV will turn itself OFF. This will prompt the patient to arrange for an available programming package on Channel Bank 1, 2, or 3.

    Custom Master TV Setup This section describes how to create a customized Master TV Setup for cloning purposes when the TV is in Pass-through Mode. All cloning (export and import) processes on the TV are performed via USB memory device / “.tlx” file. The Master TV Setup may be exported to a Clone (.tlx) file, which can then be used (i.e., imported) to configure either TVs that are to remain in Pass-through Mode or TVs that are to be configured for FTG Mode via CPU.

    To continue with this procedure, exit the wizard, and then proceed to step 2. Note: If desired, you may also use the LG First Use Wizard / Express Script to create an Express Script TV Setup for cloning purposes. See “Express Script” on pages 28 to 37 for further information. Note that TV setup menu customization via the Express Script is limited to Channels Menu options.

    Cloning Procedures Cloning typically refers to the process of using a Master TV Setup to configure a Target TV. This section describes how to save (export) a Master TV Setup and then transfer (import) it to a Target TV using a USB memory device / Clone (.tlx) file. You can also create an FTG Configuration (.tlx) file using the Cloud Configuration Tool and then use the Import Clone File procedure to transfer the configuration to Target TVs.
