    3 is a helpful screening tool that by design is to be used as a quick method for helping to identify diamonds. The PRO-D 3 should not be used as the final method for determining the authenticity or identity of the gemstone being tested.
  • Page 4 CONDITIONS FOR IDEAL OPERATION 1. The PRO-D 3 should be used in the following environmental conditions. Both the tester and the stone being tested must be the same temperature. By not following these instructions you risk compromising the accuracy of the test.
