It is much easier to attach the
rudder when the handle is
unlocked. If locked, brace the
rudder blade between your feet
and pull up the handle. It may help
to bump the bottom of the handle
with the palm of your hand.
Once they are aligned, lower the
rudder down so that the pintles
are fully inserted. If it is difficult to
slide down, pivot the rudder back
and forth while pushing it down.

Align the holes of the lower rudder
section over the top of the pintles.

NOTE : the split ring will be installed after the
mainsheet system has been mounted.
