Select and Load the Nearest ARTCC, FSS, or
Weather Frequency
1) With the Nearest Frequencies Page selected,
press the ARTCC, FSS, or Wx Softkey.
Turn the large FMS Knob to select the

frequency.

3) Press the ENT Key to load the frequency into
the 'COM' frequency standby field.

Airspace Alerts Box

• If the projected course takes the aircraft inside an
airspace within the next ten minutes, 'Ahead' is
displayed.

• If the aircraft is within two nautical miles of an
airspace and the current course takes the aircraft
inside, 'Ahead < 2 nm' is displayed.
• If the aircraft is within two nautical miles of an
airspace and the current course will not take the
aircraft inside, 'Within 2 nm' is displayed.
• If the aircraft has entered an airspace, 'Inside' is
displayed.

2) Press the FREQ Softkey and turn either FMS
Knob to select the desired frequency. Press the
ENT Key to load the frequency into the 'COM'
