» Best practice is EVERY family member has a seat and is properly secured (seat belt or car seat. While
the FAA allows children under the age of 2 to be held on lap, remember – turbulences are unexpected at
any time.
» Call airlines and ask if there are discounts for seats for children flying during non-popular times or flights.
» By bringing YOUR car seat with you – you do not have to worry about renting a car seat from a car rental
agency – the condition of these seats are most often NOT good,
