What is a rear-facing only seat?

A child restraint designed for use only by a young child in a semi-reclined rear-facing position. Also
referred to as an infant car seat.

Have a 3 or 5-point harness that attaches at the shoulders, at the hips, and between the legs.

Typically there is a base that stays installed in the vehicle.

The rear-facing only seat can connect to the base or a stroller outside the vehicle for convenience.
