INDOOR UNIT Error Method:
INDOOR UNIT
Intake Grille Error
Detective Actuators:
Indoor unit Controller PCB
Micro switch
Forecast of Cause :
1. Micro switch failure
Check Point 1 : Check Limit switch
Check operation of Micro switch. (any blocking by dust, etc.)
Remove Micro switch and check ON/OFF switching operation by using a meter.
>>If Micro switch is detective, replace it.
OK
Check Point 2 : Check Connector (CN11) / Wire
Check loose contact of CN11 /shorted wire (pinched wire).
>>Replace Micro switch if the wire is abnormal
OK
Check Point 3 : Replace Controller PCB
If Check Point 1 - 2 do not improve the symptom, change Controller PCB.
Indicate or Display:
Outdoor Unit : No indication
Indoor Unit : Operation lamp: 5 time Flash, Timer lamp: 8 time Flash
ERROR CODE : [E : 58]
Detective details:
When the Micro switch is detected open while running the compressor.
