    Device Description Chapter 2 The Auto Syringe AS50 Infusion Pump (hereinafter referred to as “the pump”) is designed to meet the fluid and drug delivery requirements of today’s changing clinical environment. It provides accurate, continuous or intermittent infusion of intravenous solutions, drug solutions, whole blood, and packed red blood cells.
  • Page 10 The pump is supplied with a pole clamp and a built-in IV pole loop. The pump can also be used on a tabletop. Information on writing custom software for the pump is available in the Auto Syringe AS50 Infusion Pump Programmer’s Manual.
