2.1.3 Maintenance


Only carry out maintenance which is described in the manual.
Refer to chapter 5 "Maintenance".

An authorised technician must carry out maintenance and repair which is not described in the
manual.

Do not disassemble or repair the chairlift yourself. Have chairlift parts repaired and replaced
by an authorised technician.

Do not modify the chairlift in any way.

Do not remove stickers, labels, data plates and warning plates from the chairlift.

If you think that the chairlift has a defect which can cause injury or death, do not use the
chairlift and immediately contact ThyssenKrupp Accessibility BV.

For North America: Do regular tests and inspections according to "ASME A18.1 - 2005: Safety
Standard for Platform Lifts and Stairway Chairlifts".
