Settings
Add a new CUG index as advised by your service
provider, or delete a group.
To

scroll through
Up or Down key.
existing CUG indexes
add a new CUG index Options soft key select Add
and enter the index.
delete a CUG index
Options soft key and select
Delete.
activate a CUG index Options soft key and select
Activate.
Outside access: lets you enable or disable calls to
numbers other than those in the Closed user group.
This feature depends on the nature of your CUG
subscription. Please check with your service
provider.
Default group: you may set a default CUG with
your service provider. If you have done so, you can
enable the Default group option on your phone.
When making a call, you are given the option of
using your default CUG, instead of selecting one
from the list.
Deactivate: deactivates the CUG function. This
menu appears only when the default group is
enabled or a CUG index is selected.

Band selection
(Menu 9.5.8)
For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it
must register with an available network. Your
phone can handle any of the following types of
networks:
• GSM 1900
• Combined GSM 900/1800
The country where you purchased your phone
determines the default band that it uses. When you
travel abroad, you must remember to change to an
appropriate band.
1. Select the appropriate option and press the OK
soft key.
2. When the display confirms the network band
you selected, press the Yes soft key.
To cancel the selection, press the No soft key.
When you select a new band, your phone
automatically searches for all available networks.
Your phone registers with a preferred network
within the band.
Bluetooth

Bluetooth technology enables cost-free wireless
connections between electronic devices within a
maximum range of 10 meters. A Bluetooth
connection can be used to send photos, images,
videos, messages, scheduled items, and to connect
wirelessly to devices using Bluetooth technology,
such as computers.
