Problem
You do not hear a chime from
the console when you press
to install a remote.
ARM
You do not hear a chime from

Solution
Check if you can arm the system when

Note: If the sensor transmitter/motion detector is already
installed, it is installed again into the next available zone.
Replace the console's battery.
Purchase a replacement remote control (Cat. No. 49-
2591T or 49-2591), and then completely re-install your
system to prevent someone else from using the lost re-
mote control.
A neighbor might have a compatible system. Re-install
the remotes.
Press the button located beneath the label with a pencil
and then press
. If it still stays on, remove the bat-
