    Install Batteries Insert two AAA batteries (not supplied) into the compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside. Notes: • Replace the batteries if the alarm sound weakens or the LED flashes red. • Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or bury batteries. • Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
  • Page 7 Use the Alarm Instant Activation 1. Slide the INSTANT/DELAY switch to INSTANT. 2. Insert the key and rotate to ON. 3. Once activated, the alarm will sound any time if it is moved away from the magnet. After about 90 seconds, the alarm turns off and the LED flashes green.     Delay Activation 1. Slide the INSTANT/DELAY switch to DELAY. 2. Insert the key and rotate to ON. The LED lights green and you have 15 seconds to close the door. After 15 seconds, the alarm arms and the LED turns off. Deactivation • When you open the door, the LED lights red. Rotate the key to OFF within 10-15 seconds of opening the door. • If you do not disarm the alarm, the LED flashes green after the alarm has sounded for 90 seconds.
