3 Settings By default, the IP PHONE 1535 is set to function in the narrowband mode connected to a PSTN line and there is no need for further configuration. These and other settings may be changed in the “SETTINGS” menu. The “SETTINGS” Menu is accessed from the idle screen by selecting settings from the main menu. -

3.2.2.1 Configuring Ring melody The IP PHONE 1535 Audio gallery includes 50 (fifty) melodies that can be used for ring. Each melody is 8 seconds long and an additional 60 (sixty) melodies may be downloaded from a SD/MMC card or recorded from the IP PHONE 1535. -

To answer the call, lift the handset or press the Off-Hook button to activate the Speakerphone function. The phone displays the Caller Id or, if available in the Phonebook, the caller’s name and the caller’s picture from the server. 4.2.2 Missed Call Notification/Return When a call is not answered, the screen displays the Missed Calls message, informing the user of the new missed call in the Missed Call Log. -
