18 USB Functions
The use of USB data line will turn on the charging feature of USB. In the operating system of
Windows2000 /XP, you may not install the drivers to use USB data line; in the operating system of Windows98
/98SE, you can download the driver to install and use the USB device. USB provides 3 different functions:
Compact Flash USB Drive: Connect the data line supplied together with the mobile phone onto the
computer and if the mobile phone turns on, the mobile phone will pop out the USB setting interface with
three options; please select the storage position; if mobile phone is still OFF, you need not to set and the
computer will automatically find the storage space of mobile phone and display USB disc symbol in the
computer and you can view and modify the disc contents on the computer.
Web camera: Connect the data line supplied together with the mobile phone onto the computer, the mobile
phone will pop out the USB setting interface with three options; please select the web camera. Then the
CCD camera of mobile phone will serve as the computer CCD camera.
Note: This function is available only when the mobile phone is ON.
Serial Interface: Connect the data line supplied together with the mobile phone onto the computer, the
mobile phone will pop out the USB setting interface with three options; please select the Serial Interface.
Install the software supplied with the cell phone as per the prompt appearing on the computer to dial up.
Note: This function shall be supported by network, please contact with the network operator where necessary.
