NOTE: The Strong brew strength setting takes
longer to brew compared to the Regular setting.
In addition, the brew stream may vary due to the
internal pulsing of the brewing mechanism.

Place a V-Cup portion pack in the V-
Cup Holder.
CAUTION: There are two sharp needles
that puncture the V-Cup. To avoid risk of
injury, do not put your fingers in the V-
Cup Assembly Housing.
Lower the Handle to close the Lid over
the V-Cup Holder. (When it is closed
completely, the Touch Screen will
indicate "READY TO BREW".
The strength of the brew can be
controlled by selecting the Regular or
Strong selections on the Touch Screen.
If you wish to have a more robust cup of
coffee select Strong setting. The
brewing process is slowed down to
allow the water to have more contact
time with the coffee grinds.
Once size is chosen, press the BREW
Button. BREW Button will stop flashing.
The Touch Screen will now display the
word 'BREWING' (fig. 8).

CAUTION: There is extremely hot water
in the V-Cup Holder during the brew
process. To avoid risk of injury, do not
lift the Handle or open the V-Cup
Assembly Housing during the brew
process.
There may be a short pause prior to

coffee being dispensed. The entire brew
process lasts for approximately 1 minute
and ends with a burst of air to remove
all liquid from the V-Cup.
Lift the Handle, remove and dispose of

the used V-Cup.
CAUTION: V-Cup will be hot.
Your Brewer may display "NOT READY"

as it heats water for the next brew cycle.
The "READY TO BREW" and
"HEATING" indication will return to the
Touch Screen in about 15 seconds.
