PROBLEM

Parent's Unit is
picking up sounds
or static from
outside your home.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
•
Unit isn't getting power.
•
Battery may be weak.
•
Parent's Unit may be outside the transmission
range of the Baby's Unit.
•
Baby's Unit and Parent's unit are on different
channels.
•
Baby's Unit is not turned on, or may not be
plugged into a working outlet.
•
Battery in baby's unit may be weak.
•
Other household appliances, cordless phones,
fluorescent lights or motors may be disrupting
the signal.
•
Parent's Unit may be out of effective range.
•
Battery may be weak.
•
Baby's Unit is picking up sounds from the
Parent's Unit because they are too close to each
other.
•
Volume may be set too high.
•
A neighbor has a similar baby monitor, cordless
phone or walkie talkie that is transmitting
sounds on the same frequency channel.
