Conversion to water content
Water content % = (wet weight-dry weight) / dry weight × 100
Example
Wet weight: 180 g
Dry weight: 150 g
Percent by weight: (180 - 150) / 150 × 100 = 16.6%
What constitutes dry, or at risk, or damp?
The values indicated serve as guideline figures for assessing the
materials. The values are typical inner area values
