To resolve the overload recovery issue on the Genie Z-40/23N LCD screen, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the platform is not overloaded. Remove excess weight until the overload indicator light turns off. 2. If the LCD screen displays OVERLOAD RECOVERY, the emergency lowering system has been activated while overloaded. 3. To clear the message: - Momentarily activate the drive enable toggle switch in the right direction. - The display will show FAULTS. - Momentarily activate the steer rocker switch in the right direction until RESET OVERLOAD MSG appears on the display. - Momentarily activate the drive enable toggle switch in the right direction. - The display will show ENTER PASSWORD. - Enter the reset sequence: Steer right, steer right, steer right, steer left. 4. Only trained and qualified personnel should perform this procedure.
If the issue persists, refer to the Genie service manual for further troubleshooting.
