Unlike some other hotspot data plans, the firmware with the correct Carriers Network Winegard plan allows you to decide what data plan is right for you in a given Settings you will need an internet connection.

PROVIDER field and then enter the correct APN that your cellular provider provided you when you requested your SIM card in the CELLULAR APN field. Also, be sure that the Winegard APN check box is NOT checked. See Figure 11.
One of several things has happened. The first thing to check is the WiFi signal that your device is up the login screen? connected to. If this is not the Winegard ConnecT SSID, this address isn’t valid. If you are indeed connected to the correct network, the address may have been changed. To resolve this, perform a factory reset.

Scanning The Winegard ConnecT 2.0 unit is looking for WiFi signals in range. This can take a few minutes. Once the unit is able to identify all of the signals, they will be listed and you will be able to choose one.
