Troubleshooting
Problem
Parent's Unit's power indicator
does not illuminate
Audio feedback (squealing)
Parent's Unit not functioning or
static or power LED is amber
Baby's Unit not functioning or
power LED is off
Recharging Battery for Parent's
Unit does not recharge
Parent's Unit has no sound
NOTE: To change the preset
channels, slide open the door on
the bottom of both Parent's Unit
and flip the switches for each
corresponding Baby's Unit to the
desired position. Be sure to change
the switch on the side of Baby's
Units to the matching channel.

Parent's Unit is not turned on
Batteries are dead/
Power is turned off
AC Adapter not properly
connected
Baby's Unit is too close to the
Parent's Unit
Batteries are low
Wrong AC adapter used
Not within range
Baby's Unit is not turned on
Not within range
Exceed Recharging Battery's life
span
Volume not turned up

Solution
Slide the button on each side of
Parent's Unit to the on position
Make certain that any light switches
that control the power flow to the
wall outlet are on (when using AC)
Make certain that house fuses
and circuit breakers are on (when
using AC)
Check AC Adapter jack-to-socket
and plug-to-outlet connections
Move the Baby's Unit further
away from the Parent's Unit
Lower the volume on the
Parent's Unit
If amber LED lights or no LED
at all, change the batteries
If you are not using batteries, be
certain that you are using the
correct AC adapter
Move closer to the Baby's Unit
Slide the button on side of each
Baby's Unit to the on position
Bring Parent's Unit unit closer to
Baby's Unit
Replace Recharging Battery (see
page 5)
Adjust the volume control on
the Parent's Unit
Channel Selector Switch
