• Scanning may not take place in the following cases:
• The contrast between the text and background is low.
• There is extremely small font used on the business card.
• Italics, ancient characters or irregular characters are used on
the business card.
• The business card is printed on glossy paper.
• Logos or logo-type characters are used on the business card.
• Characters are extremely close to each other or are touching.
• The scanned data may not be classified as the correct item.
• The + symbol for an international number may not be saved to
the Phonebook even if it is scanned from the business card.
• Make sure the business card is displayed completely in the
screen. Be sure that objects other than the business card
(especially those with text) are not displayed in the screen.
• Scanning is easier when the font displayed is larger, however, if
the camera is placed too close to the business card, the text will
become out of focus. Hold the camera at least 10 cm away from
the business card.
• Up to 5 phone numbers and 5 Email addresses can be saved in
a Phonebook entry.
To Select the Focus Mode
