TTY

TTY (also known as a TDD or Test Telephone) is a telecommunications
device that allows people who are deaf or hard of hearing, or who have
speech or language disabilities, to communicate via a telephone.
Your phone is compatible with select TTY devices which have an internal
CTM. Please check with the manufacturer of your TTY device for
connectivity information and to ensure that the TTY device supports digital
wireless transmission.
Press the [Menu] Soft key, select
1. Connect a TTY connector into the Headset/Adapter jack (on the left side
of the phone).
2. Select the desired TTY mode by pressing the [Left] or [Right] scroll key.

TTY
Full: Users who cannot talk and hear send and receive a text
message through TTY equipment.
TTY
Talk: Users who can talk but cannot hear receive a text message
and send voice messages through TTY equipment.
TTY
Hear: Users who can hear but cannot talk send a text message
and receive voice messages through TTY equipment.
Disabled: TTY mode is disabled.
