Add the following steps after step 7.

Install the Acrobat

NOTE

Acrobat

Reader is necessary to view the Reference Manual, which explains detailed opera-

tional procedures concerning your computer.

Logon the computer by the administrator.

At the [Welcome to Windows NT], select [Close].

In [Start] - [Run], input [c:\util\reader\ar40eng.exe] and select [OK].

Select [Next] and set up the Acrobat

After reading the "Software License Agreement", select [Accept] if you agree to the terms.

Select [Next].

At the [Setup Complete], select [Yes, I want to restart my computer now], then select [Finish].

Partition the Hard Disk

NOTE

The library able to be used with the retail version of Windows NT 4.0 for Service Pack6 is

in the following folder on the hard disk drive.

c:\winnt\i386\drvlib

In [Start] - [Programs] - [Administrative Tools (Common)] - [Disk Administrator], the sec-

tor showing [Unknown xxxMB] is an important sector. Therefore, do not delete this sector.

When a new device has been installed or a new Windows Component has been added in

[Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel] - [Add/Remove Programs], specify "c:\winnt", then

select [OK].

e.g., "c:\winnt\i386"
