lamp Operation
The assembly and changing of the ancillary equipment is to be carried out from a stable
position.
erecting the frame
The four arms of the frame are affixed to the centre cross.
The frame magnets are used for attaching the lamp to the frame; they should be turned
so they are in an opposite position to the bayonet mount.
Assembly of the lamp
Assemble the lamp using the erected frame and its magnets.
mounting the spigot
The 16mm spigot is attached to the centre of the frame using a bayonet mount. The
spigot is placed within the fastener, turned slightly then tightened using the union nut.
Assembly of the snapgrid
The original CARPetlight SnapGrid has been especially developed for the respective
lamp sizes.
It can be attached using the velcro fasteners which surrounds the lamp body, or
alternately to the softbox.
Additional rubber straps can be tightened over the four corners using the threaded pins.
The velcro fasteners provide enough support to use the lamp as a top light.
Use the protruding textile hem corner extensions on the SnapGrid to minimize any
unwanted light emissions from the corners of the lamp. Please check for possible fouling
of the velcro fasteners to ensure a perfect bond.
Assembly of the softboxes
The CARPetlight softbox is attached to the CARPetinO using velcro fasteners.
