READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
• Do NOT use this power tool for other than its intended use.
• REMOVE all packaging materials and labels before first use. Please dispose
of the packaging materials via the appropriate recycling system, in an
environmentally-friendly manner.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Store out of
reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or
these instructions to operate the power tool.
• Do NOT operate power tools in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• DO NOT USE NEAR WATER. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet
conditions. If operating in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply.
• Do NOT use an accessory or attachment not recommended by Wards, as this
may cause injury, or damage the saw.
• Keep hands, hair and clothing away from all MOVING PARTS. Do NOT wear
loose clothing or gloves when operating this saw.
• STAY ALERT AND USE COMMON SENSE WHEN OPERATING A POWER TOOL.
DO NOT USE A POWER TOOL WHILE YOU ARE TIRED OR UNDER THE
INFLUENCE OF DRUGS, ALCOHOL OR MEDICATION.
• Keep work area clean and well lit.
• This saw is not designed for operation with a stationary saw table.
• Use personal protective equipment. ALWAYS WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or
hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
• If using a connection for dust collection, ensure it is properly installed. Do not
reach into the saw dust extraction port with your hands.
• Do NOT use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and the power tool before making
any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing.
• Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool's operation. DO NOT USE A
POWER TOOL WITH A DAMAGED CORD OR PLUG, OR AFTER IT
MALFUNCTIONS, OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY MANNER.
• Always use blades with correct size and shape that match the mounting
hardware of the saw. Do not use high speed steel (HSS) saw blades. Do not use
