Motions and Gestures

The Motions and Gestures settings allow you to set up
various Motion activation services. For more information on
using gestures, see "Using Motions and Gestures" on
page 25.
1. From the Settings screen, touch
Motions and gestures.
Air Gesture
Use Air gesture to control your phone by moving your hand
about the proximity sensor.
1. From the Motions and gestures screen, touch
Air gesture.
2. Touch Learn about sensor and icon to display
information about the air gesture sensor.
3. Touch the ON/OFF button at the top of the screen to
turn Air gesture ON
Once Air gesture has been activated, the AIr gesture
options are available to be activated.

4. Touch the ON/OFF button next to Quick glance, Air
jump, Air browse, Air move, and Air call-accept to
turn each option ON
5. Touch Quick glance, Air jump, Air browse, Air move,
or Air call-accept to display a description of the option
and to try it.
Motion
Use Motion to control your device by performing natural
movements.
1. From the Motions and gestures screen, touch
Motion.
2. Touch the ON/OFF button at the top of the screen to
turn Motion ON
Caution! Excessive shaking or impact to the device may
cause unintended results. To learn how to properly
