swerves into your lane, cannot be compensated
for by the system.<
Increasing in increments
Tap the lever repeatedly to the pressure point
or beyond, arrow 1, until the desired speed is
reached.
> Each time the lever is tapped to the pres-
sure point, the desired speed is increased
by approx. 1 km/h (1 mph).
> Each time the lever is tapped beyond the
pressure point, the desired speed is
increased to the next multiple of 10 km/h
(5 mph).
The speed then displayed is memorised and
reached as soon as the road ahead of you is
clear.
Increasing continuously
Press the lever to the pressure point or beyond,
arrow 1, until the desired speed is reached.
The speed then displayed is memorised and
reached as soon as the road ahead of you is
clear.
Reducing in increments
Pull the lever repeatedly, arrow 2, until the
desired speed is reached.
Additional functions analogous to increasing
desired speed, except that the speed is
reduced.
Selecting distance

The selected distance is displayed in the instru-
ment cluster.

When you are using the system for
the first time after starting the
engine, this distance is always set.
The distance in meters corre-
sponds to approximately half of the numerical
value in the speedometer display.

Adapt distances to traffic and weather
conditions; otherwise, violations of the
law or accident risks could result. At the same
time, be sure to observe the required safety dis-
tance from the vehicle in front of
Deactivating cruise control
Press the lever upwards or downwards,
arrow 3. The displays in the speedometer dis-
appear.
