Operating range
The baby unt and the parent unt can communcate over only a
certan dstance - whch can vary wth the locatons of the baby unt,
the parent unt, the weather, and the layout of your home.
When the parent unt s out of range, the parent unt beeps and
dsplays .
To mprove recepton, move closer to the baby unt (but not less than 1 metre).
Maintenance
Taking care of your video and audio monitor
Your vdeo and audo montor contans sophstcated electronc parts,
so t must be treated wth care.
Avoid rough treatment
Place the baby unt and parent unt down gently. Save the orgnal
packng materals to protect your vdeo and audo montor f you ever
need to shp t.
Avoid water
Your vdeo and audo montor can be damaged f t gets wet. Do not use
the parent unt and/or baby unt outdoors n the ran, or handle t wth wet
hands. Do not nstall the vdeo and audo montor near a snk, bathtub or shower.
Electrical storms
Electrcal storms can sometmes cause power surges harmful to
electronc equpment. For your own safety, take cauton when usng
electrcal applances durng storms.
Cleaning your video and audio monitor
Your vdeo and audo montor has a durable plastc casng that should
retan ts luster for many years. Clean t only wth a soft cloth slghtly
dampened wth water or mld soap. Do not use excess water or
cleanng solvents of any knd.
Remember that electrcal applances can cause serous njury f used when
you are wet or standng n water. If the baby unt and/or parent unts should
fall nto water, DO NOT RETRIEVE IT UNTIL YOU UNPLUG THE POWER
CORDS FROM THE WALL. Then pull the unts out by the unplugged cords.
