A master reset may become necessary
when your handset is jammed and does not
respond to the system.
A master reset is a full restore of a handset
to its original factory settings. It requires
deleting all information on your handset by
reformatting the memory.
Caution: Used master reset with caution,
as it destroys all data stored on your
handset (files, settings, contacts etc.).
Master reset does not reset the unlock
code, security code, and lifetime timer.
To return your handset to original settings:
Press: Start > System Tools
> Master Reset
The default master reset code is
000000 (6 zeroes).

master clear
Master clear erases all information you
have entered (including contacts and
calendar events) and content you have
downloaded (including photos and sounds)
stored in your handset's memory.
Note: After you erase information, the erased
information is unrecoverable.
For master reset, perform the following:
Press: Start > System Tools
> Master Clear

from the moment you connect to your service
provider's network to the moment you end the
