P o w e r S w i t c h ( P O W E R )
Press once to turn power on and once again to turn power
off. When power is turned on, the volume indicator llSltignts
and the TX-860/840 will turn on. lf this power switch [] is
not ON, remote control operation is not possible. lf you use
the remote control transmitter to turn the power off while this
switch is ON, the stand-by/received indicator lTSlwill light.

Press this button to use the tape deck connected to the TAPE-2
PLAY/REC jacks for recording. playback or dubbing. The
|T-2MONffiE] on the display lishts up. Note that dubbing
can only be performed from tape deck 1 to tape deck 2. lf tape
deck 2 is a 3-head model, the just-recorded signal can be
monitored as a recording is being made. The button is also
enabled by the key on the remote control transmitter.
