13.1. Transferring data to a computer

You can copy your pictures and videos to a computer.
Supported operating systems:
Windows Vista SP1
Windows 7
Windows 8, 8.1
13.1.1. Using a USB cable
 Connect the USB cable supplied to the USB output on the
camera and to the USB port on the computer.
 Switch the camera on. The camera will then be detected by
the computer as a removable storage device.
 Navigate to the "DCIM" directory and, where applicable, to
the relevant subdirectories in order to view the files (*.jpg =
photos; *.avi = video recordings). See also the directory struc-
ture in the memory.
