Important safety notes
Observe the supplementary notes on safely
operating the multimedia system in the vehicle
Operator's Manual.

WARNING
If you operate information systems and com-
munication equipment integrated in the vehi-
cle when driving, you may be distracted from
the traffic situation. You could also lose con-
trol of the vehicle. There is a risk of an acci-
dent.
Only operate this equipment when the traffic
situation permits. If you are not sure that this
is possible, park the vehicle paying attention
to traffic conditions and operate the equip-
ment when the vehicle is stationary.
You must observe the legal requirements for the
country in which you are currently driving when
operating the multimedia system.

Vehicle menu
Menu overview
The vehicle menu on the multimedia system has
been supplemented or changed to include the
following displays and climate control settings
for hybrid operation:

Press the Ø button to open the vehicle menu
in the multimedia system.
Press the ! rocker switch to open the cli-
mate control menu in the automatic climate
control panel.

The menu uses arrows to show the energy flow
between the individual components of the
hybrid drive system. Depending on the operat-
ing modes, the active hybrid components are
highlighted and the arrows have different colors.
Operating modes are, for example, driving mode
with combustion engine, electric mode or high-
voltage battery charging.
Press the Ø button on the multimedia sys-

tem.
The vehicle menu is displayed.
To select Energy Flow: turn and press the
X
controller.
The multimedia system display shows the
energy flow corresponding to the current
operating conditions.
To exit the display: press the % button on
X
the controller.
The current energy flow in the hybrid drive sys-
tem can also be displayed in the multifunction
display ( page 42).
