Frequency response curve charts:
For hearing aids performance, dBSPL (dB sound pressure
level) is the scale used. Sound pressure is measured in
microPascals. The range of audible sound is from 20 to
200,000,000 microPascals. The dBSPL scale is a logarithmic
scale representing these units in a manageable way. The
performance specifications of the NeoMatic® 430 Remote
Control Hearing Amplifier are measured in dBSPL.
Citation test data for the device on the earlier page and the
frequency response curve charts in the above of this page are
obtained on a series of tests against the ANSI S3.22-2003 standard
which is in compliance with the Class I device listing requirements of
Food & Drug Administration.
