Message Alerts
When you receive a new message, the phone alerts you by:
• Displaying a corresponding icon (
MMS,
for voice mail, and
• Displaying a notification message.
• Sounding a specified alert tone (see page 112).
Creating and Sending New Messages
This section guides you through the procedures for sending
various types of messages.
Creating and Sending a Simple Text Message
1. In Idle mode, press the
