    2.8.3.2.1 Reset Switch Connector Pins 5 and 7 can be connected to a momentary SPST type switch that is normally open. When the switch is closed, the D850GB board resets and runs the POST. 2.8.3.2.2 Hard Drive Activity LED Connector Pins 1 and 3 can be connected to an LED to provide a visual indicator that data is being read from or written to a hard drive.

    Intel Desktop Board D850GB Technical Product Specification 2.9.1 BIOS Setup Configuration Jumper Block This 3-pin jumper block determines the BIOS Setup program’s mode. Table 49 describes the jumper settings for the three modes: normal, configure, and recovery. When the jumper is set to configuration mode and the computer is powered-up, the BIOS compares the processor version and the microcode version in the BIOS and reports if the two match.
