Tow-away protection

Tow-away protection is designed to prevent
any attempt to steal the vehicle by
suspended tow or by lifting onto a trailer.
The alarm is triggered if the vehicle is raised
or tilted in any way.
Tow-away protection is armed
approximately 30 seconds after the vehicle
has been locked and is disarmed when the
vehicle is unlocked.
Disabling tow-away protection
Disable tow-away protection manually if
your vehicle is being transported, e.g. loaded
onto a ferry or vehicle transporter or your
vehicle is parked on a movable surface, e.g. in
a split-level garage.
